She also serves in academic and nonprofit leadership, advancing health equity, professional excellence, and community impact through service, scholarship, and compassionate care.

Jamilah Jones is an award-winning entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community leader from Laurel, Mississippi. She leads multiple businesses across healthcare, tax services, transportation, training, retail, and notary work. As founder of Rebuild Laurel Inc., she creates opportunities, strengthens families, and advances economic empowerment through service, leadership, and lasting community impact.

 Dr. Dorothy P. Wilson is a visionary media leader, author, and women’s empowerment advocate whose work has shaped narratives and elevated communities for nearly three decades. Through Gulf Coast Woman and signature platforms, she amplifies women’s voices, builds lasting legacies, and inspires faith, leadership, and meaningful impact across Mississippi and beyond. 

Robin Butler is a Mississippi-based technology leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate with more than two decades of experience in tax and financial services. As founder of 4U Tax-Pros and a public-sector leader, she advances economic empowerment, operational excellence, and community development through innovation, service, and a commitment to creating lasting impact.

 Dr. Wencie Powell is an inspirational leader, nonprofit founder, and community advocate from Moss Point, Mississippi. As CEO of The PowellR of Love, Inc., she uplifts communities through service, mentorship, and empowerment. Her legacy spans business, philanthropy, women’s leadership, and advocacy, reflecting excellence, compassion, and lasting influence across communities.

 Rose Alexis Payton is a multi-award-winning fashion designer from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, known for building a brand that inspires confidence, creativity, and empowerment. Through fashion shows and community-centered events, she uplifts others, celebrates diversity, and creates opportunities for local businesses, leaving a lasting impact through style, purpose, and influence. 

Ameka Coleman is the Founder and CEO of Strands of Faith, a Mississippi-based holistic hair care brand serving customers nationwide. A three-time national grant winner and SBA Small Business Person of the Year for Mississippi, she is recognized for innovation, inclusive care, and purpose-driven leadership that empowers communities through wellness, education, and impact.

 Dr. Devin Foster is the CEO and Founder of Second Chance Outreach Learning Center and D&F Management Solutions LLC. A dedicated educator, workforce development leader, and community advocate, he has empowered hundreds through career training, certifications, and outreach. His work reflects a strong commitment to second chances, servant leadership, and lasting community impact. 

 Rev. Dr. John Perkins was a pioneering civil rights leader, Christian minister, author, and community developer whose life’s work advanced justice, racial reconciliation, and faith-based transformation. Born in Mississippi, he became a global voice for hope and restoration, impacting generations through servant leadership, advocacy, and a lifelong commitment to healing communities.
