While Dr. Amos initially focused on honoring women via the Empowering Progressive Women's Association, her passion for recognition expanded to encompass both genders.
Since its inception, The Best of Mississippi Awards has received over 5.000 nominations in various categories. The most recent award ceremony took place on October 7, 2023, at The Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg, MS, marking yet another significant milestone in its journey.
